CBS News Radio Launches 'CBS Connect' News Service For Music Stations

CBS NEWS RADIO is launching a new news service designed for FM music stations. CBS CONNECT has debuted with an hourly update, "THE CONNECTED MINUTE," anchored by JENNIFER BROWN. Also featured in the service will be short-form features including "CBS EYE OPENER," "CBS REWIND," "ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT MINUTE," "INSIDE EDITION: INSIDE REPORT," "THE DOCTORS’ ORDERS," "RACH ON THE RADIO," and "ASK DR. PHIL," as well as a morning show prep service with actualities, daily audio features, written stories, and digital content.

“CBS CONNECT is the latest addition to our suite of offerings for radio stations,” said CBS RADIO GM CRAIG SWAGLER. “The launch of CBS CONNECT demonstrates our commitment to providing our broadcast partners with the tools, services, and content they need to win in our hyper-competitive media environment.”
