Iowa Broadcasters Association Sets Sales Event

The IOWA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION (IBA) has increased funding for the annual RAB "Academy Extension Program" in DES MOINES for 2007. The SALES TRAINING ACADEMY is a two-and-a-half-day event, FEBRUARY 19-21, and provides intensive, fast-paced training designed to improve the performance of radio professionals. Two separate sales programs offer new salespeople, as well as seasoned veterans, the techniques necessary to maximize sales success.

"RAB Academy On-Site Extension Programs are successful at delivering the important hands-on experience and practical information needed to compete in this new media marketplace,” states IBA Exec. Dir. SUE TOMA. "It is a top-notch program, and we are proud to offer it to our radio members."
