The price by which OHANA BROADCAST COMPANY LLC is selling its KONG RADIO GROUP -- Country KUAI-A/ELEELE, HI; Top 40 KQNG (KONG)/LIHUE, KAUAI, HI; Classic Rock KSHK (SHAKA 103.3)/HANAMAULU, KAUAI, HI; Hawaiian KSRF (95.9 DA PA'INA)/POIPU, KAUAI, HI; and translators K234DF/HANALEI, HI; K288GJ/ELEELE, HI; K280EZ/PRINCEVILLE, HI; and K283CQ/LIHUE, HI -- to PACIFIC RADIO GROUP, INC. is $1.3 million, according to the contract filed with the FCC. The price was not disclosed when the sale was announced last week.
In other filings with the FCC, JENNIFER CREMEENS is selling Country KJJB (105 REAL COUNTRY)/EAGLE LAKE, TX to CENTRO CRISTIANO DE VIDA ETERNA for $100,000.
MINNESOTA VALLEY BROADCASTING CO., KMHL BROADCASTING CO., and SPRINGFIELD RADIO, INC. are transferring their licenses for 12 full-power stations and six FM translators in MINNESOTA to SUBARCTIC MEDIA, LLC in a pro forma transaction valued at $7,309,338 ($759,338 in cash and $6,550,000 in a promissory note). J. DAVID LINDER is the principal in all of the companies. The stations include MINNESOTA VALLEY's Country KATO-F (MINNESOTA 93)/NEW ULM, MN; Top 40 KDOG (HOT 96.7), Sports KFSP-A (THE FAN), News-Talk KTOE-A, K274AL, K276EH, and K252GA/MANKATO, MN; Country KRRW and Oldies KXAC/ST. JAMES, MN; and Classic Rock KXLP/EAGLE LAKE, MN; KMHL's Classic Country-News-Talk KMHL-A-K269GR, Top 40 KKCK, and Sports KNSG (THE FAN)/MARSHALL, MN; Country KARL/TRACY, MN; and K277AI/RUSSELL, MN; and SPRINGFIELD's Classic Hits KARZ/SPRINGFIELD, MN. THOMAS LINDER, DOUGLAS LINDER, and JOHN DAVID LINDER recently closed on the transfer of control of the licensees to THE JRL REVOCABLE TRUST OF 2015.
VIRGLE LEON STRICKLAND is selling Gospel WIRB/LEVEL PLAINS, AL to FABIOLA LEV and ARIK LEV for $5,000. ARIK LEV is an Israeli citizen and the deal will require approval of foreign ownership from the FCC.
