New Sports Illustrated-Cadence 13 Podcast Examines Death Of Steve McNair

A new podcast from CADENCE13 and SPORTS ILLUSTRATED combines the true crime and sports genres in telling the story of the death of STEVE MCNAIR.

“STEVE MCNAIR: FALL OF A TITAN,” a nine-part series hosted by SI’s TIM ROHAN, will debut next WEDNESDAY (10/17).  The podcast will look into the OILERS/TITANS and RAVENS quarterback and his mistress JENNI KAZEMI’s JULY 4, 2009 deaths, which police ruled a murder-suicide but left questions unanswered and one former NASHVILLE police officer, VINCENT HILL, still working the case.

ROHAN said, “The thing that appealed to me and my editors is that when we started looking at this story, we found that the matter of the STEVE MCNAIR murder was very much still alive. Not just with the friends and family of the victims, but there was even a private detective working this case, all these years later. When we began talking to people, we could tell immediately that there was a lot of emotion still surrounding the case -- pain, frustration, a real need for answers. We felt these voices would really jump out at you through a podcast, even more than on the written page.”
