CLEAR CHANNEL pulls the plug on liberal Talk in CINCINNATI, with WSAI-A dropping the format in favor of a schedule of advice and talk shows with the new slogan "1360THESOURCE.COM," starting MONDAY (12/11). The new lineup will include some shows that also air weekends on sister Talk WKRC-A (55KRC), and will complement a new website with consumer information.
The schedule includes the "WALL STREET JOURNAL THIS MORNING" (5-7a ET), JONES' CLARK HOWARD (7-10a), TAKE BACK THE DAY's DR. LAURA SCHLESSINGER (10a-1p), PREMIERE's "AT HOME WITH GARY SULLIVAN" (1-2p), WKRC-based "IN THE GARDEN WITH RON WILSON" (2-3p) and "STEVE OVERBECK'S AUTOLINE" (3-4p), HOWARD again (4-7p), JONES' NEAL BOORTZ (7-10p), and WOR RADIO NETWORK's DR. JOY BROWNE (10p-1a) and JOEY REYNOLDS (1-5a).
"1360THESOURCE.COM will launch a new direction for media in CINCINNATI," cluster Dir./AM Operations DARRYL PARKS says. "Internet and radio will merge to create a new, more in-depth entertainment experience for the consumer."
