Arizona Broadcasters Association Names New Hall Of Fame Inductees

The ARIZONA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION (ABA) has announced the induction of ART BROOKS, JD FREEMAN, JOHNJAY & RICH and DONNA ROSSI into the ARIZONA BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME. Chosen for their outstanding contributions to broadcast journalism, the 2018 inductees will be honored at ABA's Hall of Fame luncheon on OCTOBER 11th at the TALKING STICK RESORT in SCOTTSDALE. Past inductee PAT MCMAHON will be the Master of Ceremonies.
About the inductees:
* ART BROOKS – the longtime Pres./CEO of the ABA’s accolades include leading the charge on programs like Crystal Darkness, Hooked and HookedRx; ARIZONA AMBER Alert and the ANDY HARVEY NATIVE AMERICAN BROADCAST WORKSHOP.
* JD FREEMAN - whose 41-year career broadcast career started at KPGE/PAGE, AZ but while in DALLAS, he was instrumental in creating the AMBER ALERT SYSTEM.
* JOHNJAY AND RICH – since 2001, the morning-show duo has entertained Arizonans while making their mark on the community with numerous charity projects.
* DONNA ROSSI – over three decades, the five-time EMMY AWARD-winning reporter covered and uncovered some of the most high-profile stories in the state of ARIZONA.
