SiriusXM, CNN Host Michael Smerconish's Father Passes Away

Condolences to SIRIUSXM P.O.T.U.S. and CNN host and PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER and DAILY NEWS columnist MICHAEL SMERCONISH on the passing of his father WALTER SMERCONISH last THURSDAY (10/11) after a fall in DOYLESTOWN, PA at 88, according to THE INTELLIGENCER of DOYLESTOWN.

WALTER SMERCONISH, a Korean War veteran, was a teacher for many years before becoming a guidance counselor at CENTRAL BUCKS WEST HIGH SCHOOL, and also ran the adult education program at BUCKS COUNTY PRISON. He retired in 1993.
