Boston Globe, Wondery Debut Podcast On Aaron Hernandez Story

The BOSTON GLOBE's Spotlight investigative reporting team has turned its eyes toward the story of the late AARON HERNANDEZ, the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS tight end who went to prison for murder and took his own life there at the age of 27, and the result is a new podcast produced with WONDERY.

"GLADIATOR" is a six-part series that examines HERNANDEZ' troubled life and issues like the roles played by brain damage from football violence and possible repressed sexuality.  The Spotlight team's reporting includes new documents, audio, and interviews.  The show debuted MONDAY (10/15) with two episodes posted.
