NASA's newest podcast is a six-episode narrative series, "THE INVISIBLE NETWORK," a look at stories about technological aspects of the space agency that sometimes escape public notice. The show's name comes from former NASA engineer SUNNY TSIAO's book "READ YOU LOUD AND CLEAR," in which TSIAO noted that NASA's communications and tracking programs are often described as "invisible" and not noticed unless they fail; NASA's networks' invisibility, the agency suggested in a press release about the podcast, might be "because they work so well."
The series joins the existing "NASA IN SILICON VALLEY," "HOUSTON WE HAVE A PODCAST," "ROCKET RANCH," and "GRAVITY ASSIST" on NASA's podcast roster.
