Former Redskins Voice, SC Broadcaster Len Hathaway Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former WASHINGTON REDSKINS broadcaster and SOUTH CAROLINA radio personality LEN HATHAWAY, who died WEDNESDAY after a long battle with ALS at 79. 

HATHAWAY was the voice of the 'SKINS on WMAL-A/WASHINGTON in the '70s before joining WIS-A/COLUMBIA, SC as Sports Dir. in 1978, later moving to WFBC-F/GREENVILLE, SC as News Dir. More recently, he worked for the SOUTH CAROLINA Dept. of Justice as a media liaison.
