Kayla Blakeslee Named WOWO/Fort Wayne Morning Host

FEDERATED MEDIA News-Talk WOWO-A/FORT WAYNE PD/ND KAYLA BLAKESLEE has added duties as host of "FORT WAYNE'S MORNING NEWS."  BLAKESLEE, who rejoined WOWO as PD two years ago, is taking the role long held by the late CHARLY BUTCHER, who passed away earlier this year.  News anchor DARRIN WRIGHT, Sports Director MIKE "RAGZ" RAGOZINO, and producer JAY PRINCE will continue alongside BLAKESLEE.

“When it came to finding the right person for the job, KAYLA stood out for many reasons. She loves radio, she loves WOWO and she loves northeast INDIANA,” said Market Manager JIM ALLGEIER. “I am excited for WOWO’s future.”

BLAKESLEE said, “I know this role is not going to be easy, but I welcome the challenge. I hope to make CHARLY BUTCHER proud and continue in his footsteps when it comes to capturing the heartbeat of the community and sharing it with WOWO’s listeners."
