No station sales hit the FCC database TUESDAY morning, although two stations were transferred to new entities for no consideration.
In the filings appearing in the database this morning, COMMUNICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE is transferring Gospel WKDG-A/SUMITON, AL and the construction permit for a new FM translator, also at SUMITON, to SAVE OUR DAUGHTERZ, INC. for no consideration. The transferor's owner ROBIN MAY is a board member of the transferee.
SHOW LOW COMMUNITY RADIO is transferring KPKX-LP/SHOW LOW, AZ to SHOW LOW RADIO for no consideration.
Applying for STAs were SMILE FM (WDTP/HURON TOWNSHIP, MI, temporary operation from new site after losing lease) and FAMILY STATIONS, INC. (W233AD/ROCKFORD, IL, reduced power due to broken antenna).
Filing for Silent STAs were RUSTING SPROCKET ART (KVNX-LP/VANCOUVER, WA, moving to new location) and OZARK MEDIA (KELE-A and KELE-F/MOUNTAIN GROVE, MO and KOZX/CABOOL, MO, relocating studio).
Requesting extensions of Silent STAs was JDK BROADCASTING LLC (KWNA-A and K221AG/WINNEMUCCA, NV, recently acquired).
AUDION COMMUNICATIONS, LLC has closed on the sale of Silent KSGX/TOQUERVILLE, UT to REDROCK BROADCASTING, INC. for $225,000.
And PROTELSE LLC has closed on the sale of the construction permit for a new FM in HICO, TX to CHISHOLM TRAIL COMMUNICATIONS LLC for $12,500.
