Are changes coming to the lineup at CUMULUS News-Talk WLS-A/CHICAGO? ROBERTFEDER.COM reports that the station is preparing to make changes to take effect in JANUARY, although FEDER does not offer specifics as to what the new lineup will offer.
The present schedule has BIG JOHN HOWELL and RAMBLIN' RAY STEVENS in mornings, PREMIERE NETWORKS' RUSH LIMBAUGH and WESTWOOD ONE's CHRIS PLANTE in middays, STEVE DAHL in afternoons, and WESTWOOD ONE's MARK LEVIN, BEN SHAPIRO, and JOHN BATCHELOR filling out evenings.
VP/Market Manager MARV NYREN told FEDER that the station is "committed to making all of our stations as strong as we can from a program and product standpoint. We’re always looking at ways to upgrade what we have.”
The station recently added two local shows to the weekend schedule, the travel show "TRIP SISTERS" 2-3p (CT) SATURDAYS and police/crime show "THE POPO REPORT" 7-9p SATURDAYS.
