SB Nation's New Podcast, 'It Seemed Smart,' Begins Today

VOX MEDIA's SB NATION has launched "IT SEEMED SMART." a new podcast hosted by SB NATION Editor-at-Large SPENCER HALL ("EVERY DAY SHOULD BE SATURDAY," "SHUTDOWN FULLCAST").  The show, a chronicling of sports stories involving trickery and deception, is debuting TODAY (10/23) with a six-episode first season; the first episode looks at ALBERT BELLE's 1994 corked bat incident and the theft of the bat from the umpires' room.

”This podcast will celebrate the off-the-wall sports stories that SB NATION is best at telling, in audio form,” said Editor-in-Chief ELENA BERGERON. “It will also be an opportunity for those who don’t follow daily sports to be wowed by the spectacle of competition via SPENCER’s unique reporting.”

“I’m excited for fans to listen to some of the more esoteric sports stories that have happened throughout the years,” said HALL. “I believe that people will learn something new every episode while also having some fun while doing it.”
