Tyler Named EVP At Columbia Records

COLUMBIA RECORDS Chairman STEVE BARNETT has named BRUCE TYLER EVP of the label. In his new supervisory executive post, TYLER will work with senior management in establishing and effecting the company's overall goals, direction and vision. He will advise and collaborate with the operations and staff of COLUMBIA RECORDS and its associated labels to promote growth and development throughout the label group.
TYLER was previously SONY MUSIC LABEL GROUP U.S. EVP/Promotion & Market Strategy.
"From the first time I met with BRUCE, it was clear that I wanted him to play a vital role within the SONY organization," said SONY MUSIC LABEL GROUP Chairman ROB STRINGER.
