ALL ACCESS extends condolences to family and friends of Country great FREDDIE HART following his SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27th passing in BURBANK, CA. He was 91.
HART's signature hit was 1971's "Easy Lovin," which earned Song Of The Year honors from both the ACM and CMA. In 1972, the tune was a repeat Song Of The Year winner from the CMA. In addition to recognition for "Easy Lovin" as a song, HART took home individual wins for Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Album, and Single Of The Year at the 1971 ACM AWARDS. HART's recording career began in the 50s, but he was an accomplished songwriter, too, with artists such as PORTER WAGONER, BUCK OWENS, PATSY CLINE, GEORGE JONES, WAYLON JENNINGS, and EDDY ARNOLD recording his music. HART was a 2004 NASHVILLE SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME inductee. No information on services has been released so far.
