Report: Apple In Talks With iHeartMedia About Possible Stake, Marketing Deal

The FINANCIAL TIMES is reporting that APPLE is in preliminary talks to acquire a stake in iHEARTMEDIA. The report says that no deal has been reached, and the deal may take the form of a multi-million-dollar marketing partnership involving APPLE MUSIC and streaming rather than a direct equity investment in the broadcasting and digital audio company, which is in the process of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

iHEARTMEDIA declined comment when contacted by ALL ACCESS.
