Fort Wayne Gets Its Jingle On

At the stroke of high noon today, the sounds of the season from BING CROSY, BURL IVES and BRENDA LEE began filling the airwaves at ADAMS RADIO GROUP Mainstream AC WWFW (103.9 Sunny FM)/FORT WAYNE.

“We are giving the people what they want, and FORT WAYNE is ready for Christmas music!," says enthusiastic 103.9 Sunny FM Director of Programming, ROB MACKENZIE. “We polled listeners a few weeks ago about when they wanted us to start Christmas music, and we were overwhelmed by the number of people that said ‘right now,’ or November 1st.”

MACKENZIE says current events always factor into the decision of when to make the switch to all-Christmas music. “Between politics and bad news, we wanted to be a place someone could come and escape, and feel joy. For many people, Christmas is a time of year that warms the heart and soul, it draws us together together, and it brings back those memories of our childhood.”
