WUWM/Milwaukee GM Dave Edwards Sets Retirement

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - MILWAUKEE News-Talk WUWM/MILWAUKEE GM DAVE EDWARDS has announced his retirement from the station, effective MAY 30, 2019.  EDWARDS joined WUWM in 1979 and served as PD before getting promoted to GM in 1985; he is also a past Chair of the NPR Board of Directors.

“I’m proud of the radio station WUWM has become,” said EDWARDS. “I’ve been fortunate to work with a very talented and dedicated staff. I’ve enjoyed interacting with our listeners and others in the community who value an open discussion of issues. I’m leaving WUWM at a time when the station is in very strong position with an exciting future ahead.”
