SHANE FARLEY is buying 100% of the stock of COWLEY COUNTY BROADCASTING, INC., licensee of Classic Country KSOK-A and K277CK/ARKANSAS CITY, KS and Country KSOK-F/WINFIELD, KS, from WILLIAM DOCKING (74.4%) and A.F. and ETTA MAE MUTTI, heirs of the late MARTY MUTTI (25.6%), the latter share for $20,000 plus $35,000 in debt forgiveness (the latter paid after the company receives the proceeds from a life insurance policy). MARTY MUTTI had filed to buy out DOCKING earlier this year but passed away before the deal was closed.
In other filings with the FCC, INGSTAD RADIO WASHINGTON, LLC is transferring K269HF/YAKIMA, WA to STEPHENS MEDIA GROUP's SMG YAKIMA, LLC as part of the previously closed sale of the translator's primary station, Sports KBBO-A (1390 THE FAN)/YAKIMA, for no additional consideration. KBBO was part of a group sale for $10.725 million.
The INGSTAD family also transferred the licenses of Country KOVC-A and Top 40 KQDJ-F (Q101)/VALLEY CITY, ND and Country KDDR-A and K240CJ/OAKES, ND from SIOUX VALLEY BROADCASTING COMPANY to I3G MEDIA INC.; both companies are owned by siblings ROBERT J. INGSTAD, TALLIE COLVILLE, and TODD INGSTAD.
CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH has closed on the donation of W249AS/NORWICH, NY to MARS HILL BROADCASTING CO., INC. The primary station is Religion WMHR (MARS HILL RADIO)/SYRACUSE.
And LIVING PROOF, INC. has closed on the sale of Religion KJCU/FORT BRAGG, CA to CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. for $3,000.
