ANGIE WALKER, wife of RUTHERFORD GROUP News-Talk WGNS-A/MURFREESBORO, TN Station Pres. SCOTT WALKER, was killed by a tornado that directly struck their CHRISTIANA, TN home last night, the DAILY NEWS JOURNAL reports. The NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE in NASHVILLE cited that an EF-2 tornado with winds of up to 135 mph touched down in CHRISTIANA.

The station website released the following statement: "It's with great sadness we report the passing of ANGIE WALKER in the TUESDAY morning tornado that occurred in CHRISTIANA. It was the WALKER's home that was directly hit by the storm. ANGIE was just 10 days from her 42nd birthday. The family would like to thank the community for their love and support during this tragic time."
