Doc Love Upped To PD For WIGV/Charlotte & Streetz 87.7/Norfolk

CORE COMMUNICATORS BROADCASTING has promoted DOC LOVE from OM to the new position of PD for Urban WGIV-A (STREETZ 103.3/100.5)/CHARLOTTE and Urban (STREETZ 87.7)/NORFOLK. 

CORE Pres./CEO STEVE HEGWOOD said, “DOC has proven experience to execute the STREETZ brand over the past two years, I am proud to promote him to oversee these two very important markets.”

LOVE added, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue to build the CORE COMMUNICATORS BROADCASTING brand.  I feel that my previous experience in radio has helped me prepare to take on such an important role as this one.  I look forward to grooming new, up and coming talent.”

He's a 25 year veteran in the radio industry.  LOVE's resume includes KMJM (MAJIC 108 & 100.3 THE BEAT)/ST. LOUIS and PD at WKKV (V-100)/MILWAUKEE. He joined CORE as OM in 2016.  He will continue to report to Pres./CEO STEVE HEGWOOD.
