SIRIUSXM will participate in WHYHUNGER's annual Hungerthon for the 10th year in 2018, promoting the charity's online auction starting TODAY (11/14) and running through DECEMBER 12th.
The auction, to benefit the charity founded by the late HARRY CHAPIN, will include items like meet and greets with WILLIE NELSON, LL COOL J, and MUMFORD & SONS, concert tickets for DIPLO, BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA, and PHISH, DAYTONA 500 tickets, and a visit to an NFL training camp. Also up for auction will be signed guitars from SEAN ONO LENNON, BILLIE EILISH, and the GOO GOO DOLLS' JOHNNY RZEZNIK, an autographed MARSHMELLO helmet, and several other items, and opportunities to co-host, guest DJ or sit in studio with SIRIUSXM hosts JENNY MCCARTHY, HODA KOTB, ANDY COHEN, CHRISTOPHER “MAD DOG” RUSSO, SWAY CALLOWAY, TRACE ADKINS, THE MORNING MASH UP, THE HIGHWAY, THE BEATLES CHANNEL, 80s on 8, and other shows and channels. SIRIUSXM is not serving as a formal sponsor of the auction but is classified as a participating promoter and donor.
This year's Hungerthon is the 33rd annual fundraiser for the charity, headed by NOREEN SPRINGSTEAD and battling hunger in the U.S. and internationally. The auctions are conducted online at www.charitybuzz.com/hungerthon. ENTERCOM Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK is another longtime participant, offering sit-ins with its hosts in the auction.
