'2 Dope Queens' Ends Its Run With Final Episode Featuring Michelle Obama

After two-and-a-half years, a spinoff show and a series of HBO specials, WNYC STUDIOS' "2 DOPE QUEENS" has ended its run with a surprise guest, MICHELLE OBAMA. The show, hosted by JESSICA WILLIAMS and PHOEBE ROBINSON, debuted APRIL 4th, 2016 and spawned ROBINSON's "SOOO MANY WHITE GUYS" podcast and specials that first ran on HBO in FEBRUARY and MARCH.

The hosts posted a farewell message to listeners TODAY on their website along with the last episode, thanking listeners and noting, "Our show started in a hot basement in BROOKLYN and now we’re selling out theaters across the country. We could not have done it without you. The podcast was created as a space for female, POC and LGBTQ performers to shine (and for PHOEBE to teach you all about why BONO is, in fact, great). We -- and by we, we mean YOU -- showed the world that people want and need to hear more diverse voices."
