Radioplayer Canada Unveils Dashboard Streaming App Prototype

RADIOPLAYER CANADA has unveiled a prototype touchscreen radio app for dashboards, "Reference Radio," based on the U.K. version of the radio streaming app.  Reference Radio includes HD RADIO, FM, and Internet radio streams as a single list of stations; the prototype was demonstrated at an industry event in BERLIN.

"Reference Radio represents another major step toward an even better user experience for radio listeners," said ROGERS RADIO SVP and RADIOPLAYER CANADA Board Chair JULIE ADAM. "Our collective industry goal is to provide simple, seamless, and safe radio listening for the automobile."
