"EAR HUSTLE" podcast co-host EARLONNE WOODS will continue with the show as a contributor, but his co-hosting days may be over, for good reason: WOODS' sentence for attempted robbery has been commuted by CALIFORNIA Governor JERRY BROWN and WOODS will be eligible for parole.
WOODS, who created "EAR HUSTLE" with fellow inmate ANTWAN WILLIAMS and artist NIGEL POOR in 2016, was serving a sentence of 31 years to life at SAN QUENTIN for participating in a 1997 armed robbery, but has been active in producing "EAR HUSTLE," a podcast about life behind bars, and Governor BROWN said in his commutation declaration that WOODS will likely "continue to educate, enlighten and enrich the lives of his peers." While in prison, WOODS earned a GED and attended COASTLINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
