Report: Tribune Media Offers Employees Voluntary Buyouts

While TRIBUNE MEDIA plots its post-aborted-SNCLAIR merger future, the company has offered voluntary buyouts to staff, including News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO, reports ROBERTFEDER.COM.

The buyouts, coming after an 11% increase in third quarter revenues, are a "very small program that will ultimately affect a little more than 1 percent of our employees," according to TRIBUNE VP/Corporate Relations GARY WEITMAN.
