KENZ Hires Mike Peer As PD

CBS RADIO Talk WFNY (92.3 FREE FM)/NEW YORK OM MIKE PEER will exit DECEMBER 22 to join CITADEL AAA KENZ (101.9 THE END)/SALT LAKE CITY as its new PD. PEER is replacing BRUCE JONES, who resigned after over 10 years with the station (see NET NEWS 8/30).  

In addition to handling WFNY's music programming, PEER programmed KROCK2.com. He spent eight years as APD/MD at Alternative WXRK (92.3 K-ROCK) before the station flipped to WFNY approximately one year ago.

KENZ GM ERIC HAUENSTEIN told ALL ACCESS, "MIKE's strong credentials make him the ideal second PD in the 10-year history of KENZ. We're looking forward to MIKE's contributions of energy and ideas."

Look for PEER to join KENZ the beginning OF JANUARY.
