WCTK/Providence Promotes Madelyn Grimaldi To Middays

HALL COMMUNICATIONS Country WCTK (CAT COUNTRY 98.1)/PROVIDENCE has promoted MADELYN “MADDIE” GRIMALDI from fill-ins to middays. She replaces MEREDITH THOMPSON, who took a job outside the radio industry. GRIMALDI has been with WCTK since 2015, when she started as an intern in the Promotion department, later rising to Promotions Asst. and Dir./Social Media before joining the air staff.

“MADDIE told me right away that she wanted to learn how to be on-air,” said HALL VP/Programming and WCTK PD BOB WALKER. “She showed the patience, determination, and willingness to take direction, all while practicing for over a year off-air. Once she started filling in, I knew she was destine for full-time shift. We are all very proud of her."
