Longtime Jackson, TN Host Bill Way Dies At 74

Longtime JACKSON, TN radio host BILL WAY has passed away at 74, reports the JACKSON SUN. WAY died TUESDAY morning (11/27) in MEDINA, TN after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

WAY joined GRACE BROADCASTING SERVICES News-Talk WTJS/ALAMO-JACKSON, TN on OCTOBER 31st for 8:30-9:30a (CT) weekdays after fifteen years at crosstown WIRELESS GROUP/RADIOCORP News-Talk WNWS-F (NEWS/TALK 101.5) (NET NEWS 10/31); WAY, who also co-owned WAY WILCHER ADVERTISING and THE NEW CITY MAGAZINE, previously co-owned WJAK-A/JACKSON, and performed in acapella group THE DELACARDOS, did his final show on NOVEMBER 16th and was diagnosed at that time with pancreatic cancer.
