WESTWOOD ONE is seeking an on-air sidekick and segment producer for its nationally-syndicated Country morning program, “THE TY BENTLI SHOW,” formerly known as “TY, KELLY & CHUCK.” The chair has been vacant since former co-host KELLY FORD exited in late OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/31). BENTLI’s on-air partner, CHUCK WICKS, remains with the show.
“The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the lifestyle of a millennial Country music fan, and will be quick to recognize trends and aware of lifestyle events and pop culture,” according to a job listing. “Must be innovative in the way you approach content, and be prepared to openly share your life experiences, emotions, and opinions. Candidate will handle second-mic duties, helping move breaks forward with an attentiveness to the vision of the host. Will also act as an in-studio producer who will help ensure that all necessary details are in place for upcoming on-air breaks. At least three to five years morning show on-air experience required.
