Brian Haddad Returns To Chicago As Part The KQX Morning Crew (l-r) Ali Matta, Brian Haddad And Justin Nettlebeck
CUMULUS MEDIA Alternative WKQX (101 WKQX)/CHICAGO has announced it is launching a new morning show, "The KQX Morning Crew" which will debut on MONDAY, DECEMBER 10th. The new morning show will feature co-hosts BRIAN HADDAD (SLUDGE), ALI MATTA (MATTACOLA) and JUSTIN NETTLEBECK.
HADDAD (a.k.a. "SLUDGE") returns to CHICAGO radio after seven years at ENTERCOM Sports WIP/PHILADELPHA hosting evenings and Creative Services Dir. SLUDGE previously spent 10 years in THE WINDY CITY from 1996-2006 at then-EMMIS Alternative WKQX (Q101) and former ABC RADIO Alternative/Active Rock WZZN (94.7 THE ZONE).
MATTA joins WKQX mornings from CUMULUS MEDIA Active Rock KXXR (93X)/MINNEAPOLIS, where she was part of the “HALF-ASSED MORNING SHOW WITH NICK, JOSH & ALI”. In addition to his role as co-host, NETTLEBECK is the Exec. Producer of “THE KQX MORNING CREW”. He was previously Producer of the syndicated “THE FREE BEER & HOT WINGS SHOW."

Current 101 WKQX morning host BRIAN PHILLIPS will segue to a weekends/swing shift role and Producer/host of “ALT_BACKSPACE,” which airs SUNDAY mornings from 10a-noon.
