KBLX/San Francisco & San Mateo County Team Up For Gun BuyBack Program

BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL Urban AC KBLX (102.9)/SF and THE MORNING DREAM TEAM are partnering with the SAN MATEO COUNTY Sheriffs office for a Gun Buyback Program. It will take place on DECEMBER 15th from 10a-2p (PT) at the COUNTY offices in REDWOOD CITY, CA.

The SAN MATEO COUNTY Sheriffs office, in conjunction with police departments from REDWOOD CITY and BELMONT, will pay money for unwanted guns, no questions asked.

OM/PD ELROY SMITH said, "Our goal is to make The BAY AREA an even safer place to live and to provide a secure environment for the kids to play.  Therefore, this initiative is perfect for KBLX as we believe in protecting our community from senseless violence.”     

Attendees will be given up to $100.00 for handguns or shotguns and up to $200.00 for an assault rifle.
