KLFF Needs New Transmitter

A power surge resulting from area storms last SATURDAY night (12/9) destroyed the transmitter for Christian CHR KLFF (K-LIFE 89.3)/SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, knocking the station off the air. The station is currently running at 30 watts with its pre-amp, compared to its normal 4,400 watts.

The transmitter cannot be repaired. So far the station has received $30,000 to replace it. The station is taking donations online or by calling K-LIFE at (888) 541-4343.
