COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) have announced that former Chairman/CEO CITADEL COMMUNICATIONS LARRY WILSON will be the recipient of the third annual TOM RIVERS HUMANITARIAN AWARD. WILSON will be presented with the award at the OPENING CEREMONIES of CRS-38 on THURSDAY, MARCH 1, 2007 in NASHVILLE.
CRB VP BILL MAYNE said, "We are proud to be presenting this award to LARRY, who has done so much work for the radio industry. His support for numerous causes over the years has been exemplary." This award honors individuals in the Country radio industry who have displayed caring and generosity to their community. WILSON has been an advocate for the NATIONAL HUMANE SOCIETY and is responsible for the NORTHWEST MONTANA HUMANE SOCIETY, as well as contributed to the MONTANA LAND RELIANCE and funded search and rescue missions in MEXICO.
