Craft breweries, brewpubs, and craft beer enthusiasts throughout THE SOUTHLAND joined together in the month of JUNE to raise funds for the T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION’s pediatric cancer research programs. The T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION’s inaugural “Brew for a Cure” program united the foundation’s supporters from the medical, music and entertainment communities with craft beer aficionados to raise over $9,000 for its cutting-edge cancer research.
“We are thrilled and honored that so many of the region’s top restaurants and breweries have given their time and support to be a part of this important cause by donating a portion of sales or making a general donation,” said T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION CEO LAURA HEATHERLY. “Since 1975, The T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION has united the music community and others in the battle to find more effective treatments and cures for cancer. We are so proud to have raised in excess of $280 million over the past 43 years to fund breakthrough cancer research that one day will lead to an end to this devastating disease.”
