The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) has unveiled its new international artist-focused touring series, "INTRODUCING NASHVILLE," slated to launch in MARCH 2019 in AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND. Country acts BRANDY CLARK, DEVIN DAWSON, LINDSAY ELL, and TENILLE TOWNES will hit the road in AUSTRALIA, followed by an industry event in TOKYO featuring FRANKIE BALLARD. Each tour stop will replicate a NASHVILLE writer's round, with artists onstage in an acoustic lineup to perform songs and share personal stories. Tickets for AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND are on sale now here.
"We are excited to invest in artists who are building international careers and to help place them in front of fans in multiple cities who seldom experience NASHVILLE artists live," said CMA VP/International Relations & Development MILLY OLYKAN. "Launching the first 'INTRODUCING NASHVILLE TOUR' with these distinct artists, each of which occupy such different lanes musically, illustrates the broad range of sounds coming out of NASHVILLE and the Country genre."
