The royalties on a portion of the DOOBIE BROTHERS' catalog, including the hit, "Black Water," are up for auction on ROYALTY EXCHANGE. The company has hosted similar auctions to music by the likes of JAY Z, ARIANA GRANDE, BETTE MILDER and SANTANA, among others, which allow winners to earn royalties on songwriter's, producer's, and musician's shares of best-selling music for decades to come. Bidding opens at $160k.
The winner of the DOOBIE BROTHERS auction will own a slice of rock and '70s musical history, and earn money each time songs (including "Black Water") from the band's prime 1971-1976 catalog are streamed, bought, performed, or play on the radio. Covers/songs featuring "Black Water" (incl. tracks by GARTH BROOKS, ZAC BROWN BAND and TRAIN) will earn as well.
A classic rock staple, the songs in this catalog have also grown by more than 50% in streaming revenue in the last year, in addition to their strong, steady radio play. Information on the auction, which includes publishing royalty streams, can be found here.
