WXTG/Virginia Beach-Norfolk Preps All-News Format

New Format

DAVIS MEDIA Triple A WXTG-F (102.1 THE TIDE)/VIRGINIA BEACH-NORFOLK and Triple A WXTG-A-W270DA (101.9 HAMPTON-NEWPORT NEWS RADIO)/HAMPTON, VA are flipping to All-News as "ALL NEWS 102."  WXTG-F is breaking its simulcast with sister WTYD/DELTAVILLE, VA, which will continue with the Triple A format.

In a post on sister SOUTHSIDE DAILY.COM, the station lists its content partners as ABC RADIO, NBC SPORTS RADIO, BLOOMBERG RADIO, ACCUWEATHER, RELIANT TRAFFIC, AP, VIRGINIA NEWS NETWORK, and DAVIS' SOUTHSIDEDAILY.COM and WYDAILY.COM.  A stunt with the sound of waves is airing now in advance of next week's flip; a FACEBOOK page has been established for the station but only a logo has been posted (on DECEMBER 7th).
