Ed Baer, Longtime New York Personality And WHUD/Peekskill, NY Host, Dies At 82

Longtime NEW YORK area radio personality and SIRIUSXM host ED BAER has passed away from complications from pneumonia in NORWALK, CT at 82, reports WESTPORTNOW.COM.

BAER served as the morning host at PAMAL AC WHUD/PEEKSKILL, NY in 1986-2000 (followed by the weekend "POP REWIND" in 2000-2015), hosted on several stations in NEW YORK over the years, including WMCA-A (as one of the station's Top 40-era "Good Guys"), the Country iterations of WHN-A and WYNY, and WCBS-F (weekend shows while at WHUD), after working at WICC-A/BRIDGEPORT and KRAK-A/SACRAMENTO.  He also hosted shows on the oldies and country channels at SIRIUSXM.
