Greg Papa Named Radio Voice Of San Francisco 49ers

Former OAKLAND RAIDERS radio play-by-play voice GREG PAPA has been named the new radio voice of the SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS on CUMULUS Sports KNBR-A and Rock KSAN (107.7 THE BONE)/SAN FRANCISCO.  PAPA, who was dropped by the RAIDERS last season in favor of BRENT MUSBURGER as that franchise prepares to move to LAS VEGAS (and an interim site to be named for next season), is replacing TED ROBINSON, who will move into a community affairs role for the NINERS.

“For the last 10 years, the 49ERS Faithful have listened to one of the most accomplished and respected professionals in the broadcasting community deliver the game day action of their favorite team,” said 49ERS President AL GUIDO. “TED has always been much more to our team than just a play-by-play voice, he’s a member of our family and a valuable ambassador for our organization.
