Corey O’Brien Takes Over APD/MD Duties At KXRK (X96)/Salt Lake City

BROADWAY MEDIA Alternative KXRK (X96)/SALT LAKE CITY appoints COREY O’BRIEN APD/MD. COREY recently moved from nights to middays at X96 (NET NEWS, 12/11/18) replacing JON SMITH.  

O'BRIEN said, "I’m very excited to see what 2019 brings musically, promotionally, and technologically in radio. SALT LAKE is a very young, growing, and competitive market. X96 and BROADWAY MEDIA are in a position to do some very exciting things to entertain this city. It’ll also be fun to fight with TODD NUKE ‘EM [Program Director] over music again.”

COREY has been on-air at X96 for more than 20 years.  He was previously APD/MD at the station from from 1998-2013.  He left X96 for brief stint at ENTERCOM Alternative KNDD (107.7 THE END)/SEATTLE for APD/PM-drive. COREY returned to SALT LAKE CITY in 2014 as BROADWAY MEDIA’s Digital Marketing Manager.
