REY "RAZOR" DE CARLO, APD for LOTUS COMMUNICATION's sister station's Classic Rock KLPX and Active Rock KFMA (ROCK 102.1)/TUCSON, AZ has moved from overnights on KLPX to middays on KFMA effective FRIDAY, JANUARY 4, 2019 replacing BOY WONDER who exited in DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/7/18).
"Even though RAZOR's been on KLPX the last few years, I have always known his passion to be more on the Active Rock side of things," said KLPX/KFMA OM/PD LARRY MAC. "This is a better fit for his lifestyle, and a perfect fit for ROCK 102.1 KFMA. RAZOR is a native of TUCSON who knows the city, and loves the music and the station. Plus his experiences in radio in MIAMI and LA make him a fantastic addition to the KFMA Talent Pool. Middays are gonna rock with the RAZOR."
DE CARLO added, "The transition back to Active Rock is not a difficult one. It's a lifestyle I live and I'm super-stoked to be rocking TUCSON's workforce. I thank OM LARRY MAC and GM KEN KWILOSZ for letting me make a deeper radio footprint in the city I grew up in."
MAC told ALL ACCESS overnights on KLPX will be divided between ANTHONY BERNARDINI aka THE MULLET and GRANT SOLOMON aka THE BIG G. MAC is also picking up extra duties as OM of newly acquired AC KMXZ (94.9 MIXFM), and ESPN Radio Affiliate KFFN (104.9FM/1490AM)
