The RADIO MERCURY AWARDS have opened entries for the 28th annual awards for radio ads. This year's competition includes two new awards, Creative Use Of Audio and Creative Use Of Sound/Music. Also new this year is the acceptance of entries from agencies, production/audio companies, and advertisers in CANADA and MEXICO for work that was broadcast or released initially and primarily in the U.S. and its territories; the Spanish Language Spot/Campaign category has also been opened to radio stations/groups.

Finalists will be announced in MAY and the awards themselves will be handed out at an event THURSDAY, JUNE 6th at SONY HALL in NEW YORK. Entries are due by MONDAY, APRIL 1st.
