CORE COMMUNICATORS Urban WFDR (STREETZ 94.5)/ATLANTA has promoted evening air personality SEAN “FERRARI” SIMMONS to MD. He’ll handle the position in tandem with his 6-10p (ET) show. The move coincides with his contract renewal.

SIMMONS said, “It’s a chance to do something I’m extremely passionate about. Music is my life and it’s an honor that I’ve been chosen to assume the duties.”

Outside the station, he’s a media correspondent on BALLERALERT.COM’s weekly pop culture show.  SIMMONS also has brand deals with FOOTLOCKER, DEFIANCE FUEL, and BET.

His resume includes being a former part-time producer at ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS WVEE (V-103)/ATLANTA, THE SALUTE THE DJ’S 2018 Best Radio Host Award, and the 2016 FORD MOTOR COMPANY Go Further Award.
