COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) and the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) have tapped writer/producer DAYTON DUNCAN for the CRS 2019 keynote event on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13th. DUNCAN co-produced the new, eight-part, 16-hour "Country Music" documentary alongside the film's director, KEN BURNS, and JULIE DUNFEY. BURNS will make an appearance via a taped intro piece. Keynote attendees will enjoy an exclusive first look at clips with rare footage and interviews conducted over the six years it took to produce the film.
“KEN BURNS’ documentary is a monumental celebration of the Country music genre,” said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. “CMA is actively engaging our members to participate in this landmark series, and we’re delighted to share a sneak peek of the documentary with those attending CRS.”
CRS 2019 is set for WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13th through FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15th at NASHVILLE's OMNI HOTEL. The $699 final registration rate is available here.
