Marty Brennaman To Retire From Cincinnati Reds Radio After 2019 Season

Hall of Fame broadcaster MARTY BRENNAMAN, who previously announced that he will be back calling CINCINNATI REDS baseball on iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WLW-A-W233BG/CINCINNATI for the 2019 season (NET NEWS 10/29), has now announced that the 2019 season will be his last in the REDS booth. BRENNAMAN made the announcement in a brief video posted to social media this morning, followed by a press appearance at GREAT AMERICAN BALL PARK.
BRENNAMAN has called REDS baseball since 1974 and was inducted into the NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME in 2000 and the NATIONAL RADIO HALL OF FAME in 2005; his son THOM is the REDS' TV voice on FOX SPORTS OHIO and a FOX SPORTS baseball and football broadcaster.
