BMI Founders Internship Program Offers New Internships

The BMI FOUNDATION's revamped BMI FOUNDERS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM, done in partnership with BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP and HUBBARD RADIO, is now accepting applications to broadcasting students nationwide. Aspiring radio newscasters, announcers, sales executives and program directors are encouraged to apply to win a four-to-six-week paid internship for the best original essay response submitted to the competition.
Internship opportunities are currently available in 15 media markets. Applicants do not have to live in these markets in order to apply. Once selected, the winner will choose one of the following cities for their internship:

• MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL
• PHILADELPHIA
• CHARLOTTE
• BOSTON
• LAS VEGAS,
• NEW JERSEY
• FAYETTEVILLE, NC
• AUGUSTA, GA
• FORT MYERS, FL
• TAMPA
• WILMINGTON, DEBMI VP/Industry Relations DAN SPEARS is the Director of the BMI FOUNDERS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. All entrants must be current students at an accredited U.S. college or university, between the ages of 17 and 24 at the time of entry, and a degree candidate in Broadcast Communications or a related major.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their essay response, letter of recommendation and academic record (minimum 3.0 GPA). Online applications must be completed and submitted no later than APRIL 15th. For more information and to apply, please visit bmifoundation.org/broadcast.
