WHO/Des Moines Taking 2019 Tractor Ride To Council Bluffs

iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WHO-A/DES MOINES' "THE BIG SHOW" farm program is taking its annual WHO RADIO Great IOWA Tractor Ride all the way to the western edge of the state for its 23rd annual event, setting up camp in and around COUNCIL BLUFFS JUNE 24th-26th for this year's edition. The ride, created in 1996 by WHO's MARK PEARSON and GARY WERGIN, will include over 500 tractors and their drivers coming to the WESTFAIR FAIRGROUNDS & AMPHITHEATER in POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY.
WHO Tractor Ride Director SCOT KNOCK said, “COUNCIL BLUFFS offers a beautiful setting that includes rides alongside, and over, the breathtaking LOESS HILLS, through the picturesque farmland of western Iowa, as well as an opportunity to bring our tractors to the residential areas of COUNCIL BLUFFS. We are excited to bring our fanfare to the area for the first time in our historic 23-year run.”
The COUNCIL BLUFFS CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU's ALICIA FRIEZE added, “The City of COUNCIL BLUFFS and the CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU are excited to host the 2019 NEWSRADIO 1040 WHO Tractor Ride. It will be the first time the WHO Tractor Ride has toured our rural areas. Our community embraces its UNness, and this event is UNlike any other. We welcome the riders and their families to enjoy our local activities and attractions.”
