KABG (Big 98.5 )/Albuquerque Morning Host Chaz Malibu Helps Save A Life

AMERICAN GENERAL MEDIA Classic Hits KABG (BIG 98.5 )/ALBUQUERQUE morning host CHAZ MALIBU helped a long-time listener.

“I was doing my (air-)shift this morning, and I get a quick call from one of my listeners on my private cell phone," MALIBU said. "It's from one of my closest and dearest listener friends;I call her ‘MISS LETTI.’ When I answered, she asked if I got her text. I immediately opened my text messages and read,‘I need you to call 911 and send them my address, the left side of my body has gone numb.’ 

"I immediately called 911 and gave them her address. The operator wanted to know if I was with her ... I told them no, but that I’m on another phone line with her. They asked about her condition and to tell her to open her front door so that, when they arrive, they can come in. I gave her their instructions and stayed on the phone with her until the paramedics arrived. She proceeded to tell me that she woke up numb and couldn't stand, and then she began to slowly crawl to her front door and unlock it. I comforted MISS LETTI as she was joking and keeping a wonderful sense of humor until the EMTs arrived.”

CHAZ later visited MISS LETTI at a local hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition.
